3. Pigment properties

Pigment Red 177) is a blue brilliant red pigment with bright color and excellent fastness properties. Organic pigments belonging to the vat dye type. It can be combined with inorganic pigments such as molybdenum chrome red to produce bright colors, excellent light and weather resistance, and can be used for automotive paint primers and repair paints.

 In plastics, it will not change color at 280℃/5 minutes, the light fastness can reach 8, and the heat resistance in powder coatings can reach 260℃ without discoloration.

Mainly used for the coloring of paints, inks, plastics, synthetic fibers and other products. Because of its good transparency, it is often used for metallic glitter paint, coating of various resin films and coloring with special printing ink for coinage.
